Tell us a little about your role at Venture Title & Escrow.
As the Senior Vice President of Operations, I oversee all operational functions in both title and escrow. My focus is on ensuring that our processes and tools are secure, compliant, and make it easy for our team to provide an outstanding experience to our customers.
What led you to start Venture 1031?
Given my background in the industry, it was a natural fit. I’ve spent 24 years in the title and escrow industry, working in residential and commercial escrow, training, compliance, acquisitions, production software, process improvement, and leadership. Each of these roles contributed to the creation of Venture 1031.
My experience closing escrow transactions, paired with my knowledge of various systems, provides me with the necessary skills to provide an exceptional customer experience. My compliance background was crucial in implementing best practices to ensure the security of funds and documents handled by Venture 1031.
How has your experience shaped the vision for Venture 1031?
I’ve been based in the Treasure Valley throughout my career, but I’ve also had the opportunity to close transactions across the country and build new offices in neighboring states. That experience gave me a unique understanding of how transactions work differently from state to state.
With Venture 1031, I wanted to take the best parts of my experience and create a service that is simple, predictable, and personal—just like we do at Venture Title & Escrow.
What excites you most about leading Venture 1031?
Over the past few years, I’ve been deeply involved in building Venture Title & Escrow, focusing on systems, processes, and compliance. Now, with Venture 1031, I’m excited to get back to working closely with industry professionals again.
I can’t wait to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new ones. I truly believe that the relationships we build working together are incredibly important—both personally and professionally.
