Not only does it have a different look and feel, which you’ve likely already noticed, but we built out several resources for real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to make the home-buying transition a little easier. If you’re a first-time home buyer and don’t know what escrow is, or if you’ve ever wondered what title insurance is and why it’s important, we’ve got you covered. Both buyers and sellers can stay organized with our closing and moving checklists, making this process as smooth as possible for all parties involved.
The most exciting part of our new site is the features available to Venture VIPs by joining the Ascent team. If you are already a member, don’t worry, your existing login will still work on the site (just click “Ascent Team Login”). If you’re a real estate agent, you should run, not walk, to become an Ascent team member; it is a comprehensive portal that will help you stay on top of your game. You’ll get exclusive access to a tool called Compass which displays comprehensive and consolidated property data such as zoning, legal descriptions, and deeds. Other helpful tools include title quotes, loan estimate quotes, and closing disclosure quotes. Perhaps most importantly, there is a net sheet calculator to estimate closing costs and net proceeds. Being an Ascent team member is quite simply a smart business decision, and we are thrilled to offer it!
