How did you initially get involved at Venture Title & Escrow, and what inspired you to join the team?
When Venture Title & Escrow launched in 2022, I was working with a competing title company. Over the next year and a half, I frequently crossed paths with members of the Venture team at various industry events. The consistent praise they shared about the company piqued my interest and led me to learn more about its values and forward-thinking approach. By mid-2024, the timing aligned perfectly with my professional goals, and I knew that joining Venture was the right step forward for my career development.
How did you first get into the title and escrow industry, and what other roles or experiences have you had in this field?
After graduating college, like many new graduates, I found myself searching for work. To make ends meet, I took a construction job while applying for an entry-level position at a title and escrow company. Six weeks into my construction role, I was offered a position in data entry and legal descriptions, marking the true start of my career. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats in the industry, including customer service representative, escrow assistant, title officer, and branch manager. Each role provided valuable lessons and deepened my understanding of the field, ultimately leading me to my current position as an escrow officer.
Can you share a key milestone or achievement in your career that you’re particularly proud of?
Looking back on my 21-year journey, I’m proud to have turned what began as just a job into a truly fulfilling career. While work is a necessity, escrow has become so much more for me—it’s a way to connect with people and make a meaningful impact. Helping clients navigate the complexities of real estate transactions is incredibly rewarding, and I find genuine purpose in building trust, fostering relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
