On Thursday, May 11, we held our grand opening party with a focus on giving back to the community we love. Julie Martin planned the entire event which featured delicious food, drinks, and, of course, the best company. We had an incredible turnout, with over 200 guests who got to know us and tour the new space.
The first stop for our guests on this adventure was a delectable grazing board from Whitney Fredin and a chance to check in to get a “passport.” We created these passports as a fun, interactive way to engage our guests, with stops for food and drinks and even the chance to get a passport photo! Our photographer for the evening was Connor Bunderson from John Connor Media.
Our focus for the evening was a company-wide commitment to raise money for two important local charities. We had representatives from both organizations, Rays for Rare and the Boys & Girls Club. Rays for Rare is a charity based in Eagle founded by Megan and Corey Schomer to support medically fragile children and their families. They offer support groups and services such as grocery delivery and snow removal. The Boys & Girls Club is a national organization with local chapters that provide after-school programs for youth to help them graduate from high school and reach their full potential. We are proud to report we were able to raise $1800 for Rays for Rare and $1200 for the Boys & Girls Club over the course of the evening.
The final stop on the adventure was words of inspiration from our founder Mark Tidd paired with Venture-inspired cookies from Pastry Perfection. All in all, it was a smashing success!
